The Libby area is nestled in a valley alongside the Kootenai River, surrounded by the breathtaking northern Rocky Mountains. In the midst of the Kootenai National Forest, the area boasts 2 million acres of public lands that accommodate every form of outdoor enthusiast. Hunting, fishing, swimming, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, and mountain biking are all available. In addition, the 90-mile long Lake Koocanusa draws boaters and lake fisherman alike. And don't forget golf. Cabinet View Golf Course overlooks the city of Libby.
